AI Writing Assistant
Our new AI writing assistant helps you write better content faster. Whether you're drafting a blog post, writing documentation, or creating meeting notes, the AI assistant is there to help you:
- Improve your writing: Get suggestions for clearer, more concise text
- Fix grammar and spelling: Automatically catch and correct errors
- Change the tone: Rewrite text to be more professional, casual, or creative
- Translate content: Instantly translate to 20+ languages
- Generate summaries: Create executive summaries of long documents
The AI assistant is built right into the editor, so you can access it with a simple keyboard shortcut or by selecting text. It's fast, accurate, and respects your privacy - your content is never used to train AI models.
Enhanced Real-Time Collaboration
Working with a team? Our new collaboration features make it easier than ever to work together in real-time:
Live Cursors
See exactly where your teammates are working in real-time. Each person gets their own color-coded cursor, so you can follow along as they type, select text, or make changes.
Inline Comments
Leave comments directly on any block of content. Your teammates will get notified instantly, and you can have threaded discussions right where the work is happening.
Presence Indicators
See who's viewing or editing each page in real-time. A small indicator at the top of each page shows profile pictures of everyone currently active.
Getting Started
These features are rolling out to all users starting today. To use the AI writing assistant:
- Select any text in your Notion page
- Press
Cmd+J(Mac) orCtrl+J(Windows) - Choose from the AI actions menu
Real-time collaboration features are enabled by default - just start working on a page with your team members and you'll see their cursors and changes instantly.
